Bloemfontein, 24 March 2020 at 13h00: Interstate Bus Lines (IBL) released a statement that it will suspend all bus operations on Thursday evening 26 March, at 22:00 following the national address by President Ramaphosa. All public transport operators are expected to comply with pronouncement as they are legally binding. The bus company will therefore await further guidelines from Minister of Transport Mr. Fikile Mbalula. The Minister’s address is expected tomorrow 25 March 2020, but at this stage the exact time of the briefing is not confirmed.
