Interstate Bus Lines congratulated the top 100 achievers in the Senior Certificate examination (Matriculates) in the Free State Province 2017, the Well Done Function was held on 05 January 2018 at Boet Troskie Hall (Central University of Technology).
The learners, teachers, parents and the community were excited and overwhelmed as an achievement such as this does not occur without much hard work, a great deal of studying and dedication throughout their school career.
The MEC of Education, Tate Makgoe, thanked all who contributed to these results. Free State attained 86.1% pass rate, nr.1 position countrywide.
In recognition of this, Interstate Bus Lines sponsored R100 000.00 to the 90 learners within the top 100 achievers, including the top 10 in Accounting. Some of the learners who are in the top 100 achievers were part of the CUT Saturday School Project and Monyetla Project which is both sponsored by IBL (forms part of our CSI Projects).
