Interstate Bus Lines in joint partnership with other organisations and the Department of Education hosted the annual Matric Well Done function in celebration of the top 100 Matriculants from across the Free State. The event is aimed at encouraging the students to put an effort in their studies as well as celebrating and acknowledging the efforts of the parents and teachers.
Our province continued to do well when compared to other provinces and this is a good return on investment for all organisations and communities involved.
The Free State continued on its year on year improvement with an impressive 87.5% pass rate, which placed the province on second position overall edged by a small margin of 0.04% by Gauteng.
These results were also a testament of the efforts and contribution of the Interstate Bus Lines sponsored students that participated in both the Moyetla Bursary Project and the CUT Saturday school.
