In our previous edition of Mopalami, we highlighted work that is done by Anchor of Hope, a non-profit organisation that we have been involved with for a number of years.

Among the services that they offer to the Mangaung community is a project they call “Esther”. Through this project, they manufacture washable sanitary towels.

We purchased these towels as part of our Corporate Social Investment and donated them to different schools through our IBL Cares initiative.

What is remarkable about the sanitary towels manufactured by Anchor of Hope, is that their towels can last up to three years, if managed correctly. This is a huge relief for those in need of the towels also has a positive impact on the environment and are cost effective.

As part of our October Transport Month Activities, we donated sanitary towels to some deserving school girls in the community.
