The IBL Promotional League consist of the Real Angels from Thaba Nchu, The Rock FC from Botshabelo, Super Lions from Bloemfontein, Seven Stars from Dewetsdorp and Unstoppable FC from Wepener.
Unstoppable FC and Super Lions were both promoted to the Mangaung Regional League (Formerly known as SAB League) after winning Promotional Play Offs.
Mr. Vuyo Ondala (IBL Stakeholder Relations Manager) confirmed the company’s commitment to youth development through sport despite the financial constraints faced by the company due to high fuel prices and associated costs.
“We recognize that teams playing under the IBL League do not have the financial muscle to provide their own transport and other technical needs, hence IBL provides the teams with free travel in between their games and technical assistance through our partnership with SAFA”.
