Interstate Bus Lines was a co-sponsor of the David Modise & Shaxe Khumalo Foundations, along with Motheo FM, in July this year. We took to the streets of Batho Location, cleaning different public spaces in the area, including the Maphikela House, Digareteneng, Caleb Motshabi Centre, and many more.
We partnered with our friends, Motheo & Mosupatsela Radio stations, Numetro Loch Logan Cinema, KFC Zastron Street, and Culinary & Hospitality Academy to celebrate Mandela Day on 23 July 2022. We collaborated with Her Royal Highness Kgosi Gaboilelwe Moroka to invite 250 children from Thaba Nchu trust areas to watch movies at Bloemfontein’s Waterfront. It was some of the children’s first time seeing a movie in a theatre. They were all given popcorn and soda, and on their way home, they were given KFC meals, muffins, and cupcakes before being driven back to their homes by our best drivers.
IBL collaborated with SASKO on 22 July 2022 to visit the Phepo Le Tsotello NPO and serve soup and bread to residents of Bergman Square in Bloemfontein.
On 10 March 2022, APD Free State held a Thank You function for organisations and companies who offer their consistent support of APD. Interstate Bus Lines was among the companies honored at the event. IBL received two trophies in recognition of their support for both APD Free State and the Casual Day initiative. Me. Ethel Tlali represented IBL at the function.
