After a thorough assessment of the current economic environment and consultation with all the relevant stakeholders, including both passenger representatives and community leaders, the Department of Police, Roads and Transport approved a tariff increment of 8.5% in mid June 2016. This means that fares will increase by 8.5% for the Multi Journey Coupons and 5% for the Cash Tickets from the 1st of July 2016.
