Swinging into action for a great cause!
Our IBL squad hit the green for the Anchor of Hope 2024 Golf Day, held at the picturesque Bloemfontein Golf Course. It was a day filled with excitement as 144 players from various private companies took their swings, all in the name of raising funds for a worthy cause.
Team IBL emerged victorious in the tournament, marking our second win since the event’s inception three years ago. We’re thrilled to have been a part of this fantastic event, supporting Anchor of Hope—a non-profit organisation that’s like an umbrella, sheltering seven different divisions, each dedicated to making a positive impact in the Bloemfontein community. Let’s keep driving change both on and off the course!
IBL CARES: Stepping up for our community
Interstate Bus Lines is committed to providing compassionate and caring service to our community! Recently, IBL donated school shoes and hygiene packs to the learners of Tjebelopele Primary School in Phase 6. We know every child deserves confidence and dignity in the classroom. This donation empowers learners to thrive in their studies and beyond. We thank the AME Church – Africa in Phase 6 for highlighting these needs. Celebrating Excellence: Matric Class of 2023 Top Performers Visit IBL
The outstanding performance of the matric class of 2023 marked the 5th consecutive year of the Free State Province as the best performing province in the country. As one of the sponsors for the Top 100 Well-done Function, Interstate Bus Lines (IBL) proudly hosted the top learners from our turf in Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, and Thaba Nchu. The event was graced by officials from the Free State Department of Education and proud parents. Both learners and parents had a special opportunity to tour Interstate Bus Lines Head Office facilities, providing them with a rare glimpse into what it takes to keep our buses on the road. Celebrating excellence and assisting our future leaders are values that we uphold at IBL. Congratulations to the matric class of 2023 for their outstanding achievements!
