We view education and training as a very important priority in South Africa and organisation. The development of the workers is not the direct result of the Skills Development Act or Skills Development Levies Act, but rather that each and every person should be regarded as an individual with his or her own potential and development needs.
To identify the training needs in our organisation, an annual training needs analysis is done and combined with information from performance management and the mentorship programs. This information is then utilized to identify specific training needs for individuals, work sub-sections, sections and departments and in some cases the organisation as a whole. These training needs are then addressed in the Workplace Skills Plan for the year and reported on one year later in our Workplace Implementation Report to Government.
As a multi-dimensional organisation we strive to deliver hard skills and soft skills training in the language of the learner’s choice.
