Interstate Bus Lines and MAM Travel and Tours teamed up and contributed to a successful overseas trip of Carmil Sefakoana, who hails from Botshabelo. Ms Sefakoana was part of a group of students who travelled to Germany as part of their studies. The exchange programme was between the University of the Free State and University of Bremen. There she was exposed to different approaches to education and got to experience the German way of life. She says the travel overseas has broadened her horizons and general outlook on life. Interstate Bus Lines’ contribution towards her exchange programme is in line with the company’s CSI Educational programme. Interstate Bus Lines caught up with Carmil on her return from Germany and this is what she had to say:

“Dear: Interstate Bus Lines Management
I would sincerely like to thank you for making my trip to Germany a success. I am very happy and appreciate all the financial assistance I received from you. By sponsoring me, you lightened my financial burden, which in return allowed me to focus on the most important aspects which was school and learning. Studying abroad was an amazing experience! I was able to see the difference between South Africa and Germany, for instance, how the following operates: their economy; universities; public transportation; and basically, their way of life as compared to ours. I am very excited and humbled about the whole experience, and will definitely share it with other students as well.”
