On 30 April 2024, an ordinary bus ride turned into an extraordinary display of heroism and community spirit.
Driver Titise, at the wheel of bus 4093, suddenly fell ill with passengers on board. The situation could have quickly spiralled into a frightening ordeal, but one passenger’s quick thinking changed everything.
Enter Mpho Mokoaleli, a true hero among us! With a remarkable display of Ubuntu, Mpho took charge. He swiftly organised a taxi and rushed Driver Titise to Moroka Hospital, saving his life.
His courageous actions turned a potential crisis into a story of bravery and solidarity.To celebrate Mpho’s incredible heroism, we recently invited him to our offices. It was our honor to personally thank him for embodying the spirit of community and making a difference when it mattered most.
