Interstate Bus Lines in partnership with Anchor of Hope and Independent Development Corporation partnered to offer nearly 300 food parcels to a number of Non Profit Organisations in Thaba Nchu and Botshabelo areas.
Our CEO Mr. Mokgothu led a team of SATAWU & TIRISANO IBL Shop stewards against the IBL HR Department in a fierce competition for the fasted team. The HR team managed to pack 150 food parcels in 1 hour 30 minutes and the Shop stewards together with the CEO packed 213 food parcels in an hour. Our Stakeholder Relations Manager who also captured the video tried his best to discourage the Shop Stewards and the CEO but they were determined to stamp their authority and walked away with bragging rights.
Despite the outcome of the win and lose as is normal in a competitive environment, what triumphs is the collective WIN of Interstaters in lending a hand to the less privileged in our communities. We are proud of the effort, unity and care that went into preparing the food parcels, the teams displayed an exciting spirit that mirrored our company values in action.
